Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how ADAPT handles information when a user connects a social account, reviews content, and requests publication.
1. Information we process
- Connected account data: account identifiers and basic profile information returned by the platform, such as a TikTok username and display name.
- Authorization data: access and refresh tokens needed to perform user-requested API operations.
- Content: videos, images, captions, hashtags, edits, and the user's approval or rejection choices.
- Operational records: review identifiers, file identifiers, status, timestamps, publish results, and error information used to prevent duplicate posts and troubleshoot failures.
ADAPT does not request TikTok direct messages, contact lists, or unrelated private account information.
2. How information is used
We use information to connect the account selected by the user, show which account is connected, prepare content for review, publish only content the user explicitly approves, report results, prevent duplicate publishing, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations.
3. TikTok data and permissions
ADAPT uses user.info.basic to identify the connected TikTok account and video.publish to perform Direct Post after an explicit user approval. Tokens are not used to publish without the user's requested action. A user can revoke ADAPT's TikTok access from TikTok account settings.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Information is disclosed only as needed to operate ADAPT:
- TikTok receives approved content and posting instructions through its official APIs.
- Meta receives approved content for connected Instagram and Facebook accounts.
- Google Drive may temporarily host media so a platform can retrieve it.
- Telegram carries the media review, caption-editing, and approval interface.
- Caption provider processes limited content context to create draft captions.
We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Storage and retention
Authorization tokens are retained until they expire, are replaced, access is revoked, or they are deleted. Review and publishing records are retained for operational continuity and duplicate prevention until removed by the service administrator or following a valid deletion request. Media copied to Google Drive may remain there until manually removed. We periodically review retained information and delete it when no longer needed.
6. Security
ADAPT uses HTTPS for platform communications, restricts operational access, and stores n8n-managed credentials in encrypted form. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, but we apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the data and service.
7. Your choices and rights
You may disconnect an account, revoke platform authorization, or request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. Applicable law may provide additional rights. Requests can be sent to the contact below. We may need to verify the requester's identity before acting.
8. International processing and children
Service providers may process information in countries other than the user's country. ADAPT is not directed to children and is intended for authorized social account operators who meet the connected platform's minimum age requirements.
9. Policy changes
We may update this Policy as the service or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
10. Contact
